This blog was started with the intent of just posting family pictures. So that explains the blog's title. It has come to be so much more to me. It contains pictures of family events. It is not just a Langin branch but the whole tree including my family of Leonard, Freeman, Washburn, Wilbur, Dyson, Nylander and more. [The photo above shows JJ Langin's logging camp on the North Branch of the Pine River north of Riverdale, Michigan c. 1888.]

Geri's party on Monday at Ryan's in Mt Vernon IL

On MOnday April 2nd, the whole family gathered at Ryan's Steakhouse in Mt Vernon, IL. We were joined by Ralph and Paulette Leonard, Jerry Leonard, Chuck's sister Carol Comer, Chet Langin, and Peggy's parents,
Wanda and Jim Gregory from Walnut Hill. We had great food, great visits with everyone, and a great time. We've decided to do it again in June at Nashville for the Langin Reunion. I hope to see you all there! cousin linda
ps since I'm a beginner blogger, I think the whole thing is backwards and you should start at the bottom and go up. my many thanks to Cousin Lois Langin for letting us use her blog.
